Product Description
SCANLAH! is a portable barcode scanner that allows users to scan and purchase products that are available in stores and pre-order those that are not, in order to create a seamless shopping experience and tackle the lack of space and manpower in the supermarkets, especially the smaller ones in the heartlands. It also reduces the time spent at checkout through a convenient scan and bag process, after which payment can be done directly on the device. Shoppers only need to place the final items purchased at the kiosks available near the exit to ensure that items scanned and amount paid correspond with the physical items. This helps to prevent any shoplifting issue.
Not only can shoppers use this in the supermarkets, they can also order products and replenish stocks through the device from the comfort of their homes by scanning the barcodes on the packaging of used products. Home delivery can then be arranged through the device.
